SO. We live down the road from a Lutheran church, with a Finnish woman pastor, and services in English, Finnish and Japanese. Our block has a high end electronics store jostling with sushi, pizza, a Thai convenience store, and a deli run by a Yemenese guy who likes Indians. The way to our hearth lies between a bead store and a second hand audio equipment place (you can see why Ashwin chose to be here). But most importantly of all, we live right above Sacred Rose Tattoo, which is currently running a brilliant comics exhibition. Now you know where we live, and yes, welcome to Bezerkly. { 2007 09 22 }

blackmamba: excellent! Would be great to meet up and share our love for the spoken word. :))
tr: the obvious; why don’t you come and find out??

tr: it’s the beading for audio equipment that really does it. don’t ask.

Well well well alo, it seems to me that you and ashwin are living it up!
A tattoo parlor? [Always wanted to get the words 'deviousdiv' tattooed on my back, but I'm hideously afraid of needles, pain and my mother, although not necessarily in that order]
A second-hand audio shop? [I imagine our dear and beloved Trivandrum Venu maama might just die and go to heaven if he heard that]
A beading parlor? [Hey, stringing miniscule pieces of cheap plastic, expensive glass and strangely twisted metal is oddly therapeutic...]
COOL!
your ‘young’ cousin,
deviousDiv

My dearest geriatric on-the-verge-of-passing-out (though that might be the fear of imminent tattooing) cousin Divs:
Yup, we’re having fun. Come visit!

tr: When it’s in french, mon cher, it’s Panisse. As in Chez Panisse, Alice Water’s restaurant for s-l-o-w California cuisine that burns the fastest hole in your pocket.
